This Disclosure explains how Funder Compass (the "Service") uses calculators and, where enabled, artificial-intelligence (AI) features, and the limits of those features. It supplements the Disclaimer and the Terms of Use.
1. Calculators
The Service includes calculators for common private-lending, mortgage, tax and superannuation scenarios. Each calculator:
- uses only the inputs supplied by the user and the assumptions selected on-screen;
- returns indicative figures for planning and operational purposes only;
- may not reflect the most current rules, rates, thresholds, product terms or jurisdiction-specific overlays;
- is not legal, tax, financial product, credit, lending, investment, superannuation, accounting or valuation advice.
Every calculator page displays the same disclosure above the Calculate action and below the results, and every generated CSV, PDF or Excel export carries the same disclosure in its footer.
2. AI-generated content
Where the Service offers AI-assisted features (for example, drafting summaries, suggesting checklists, extracting data from documents, or generating template text), those outputs are produced by machine-learning models and:
- may contain factual errors, omissions, biases or hallucinated information;
- are drafts intended for review, not finished work;
- must be independently verified by a qualified user before being used, distributed, filed or relied on for any decision;
- do not constitute legal, tax, financial product, credit or investment advice.
AI outputs are always displayed alongside a visible disclaimer within the Service and are never presented as verified facts.
3. Data handling for AI features
Where AI features process user-supplied content, we use reputable model providers under commercial contracts that prohibit training on customer content by default. We do not sell customer content to any third party. See the Privacy Policy for the full data-handling position.
4. User responsibilities
- Confirm every calculator output with the relevant rate, threshold or product term.
- Treat every AI-generated draft as a starting point, review it in full and correct any errors before use.
- Do not use AI features to generate content that would breach the Acceptable Use Policy.
