Refund Policy

Last updated: 8 July 2026

This Refund Policy applies to subscriptions to the Funder Compass software-as-a-service platform sold by eCapital Investments Group Pty Ltd (the "Software Owner", "we", "us") through our reseller Paddle.

1. 30-day money-back guarantee

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on new Funder Compass subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with the Service for any reason, you may request a full refund of your most recent subscription payment within 30 days of the date of that payment. This period sits within Paddle's supported refund window (14 to 90 days).

2. Paddle is the Merchant of Record

Our order process, billing, and refund handling are conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"). Paddle is the Merchant of Record for every Funder Compass order and independently manages all buyer refund requests in accordance with the Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms and Paddle's own Refund Policy.

3. How to request a refund

The fastest way to request a refund is directly through Paddle:

  • Go to paddle.net and enter the email address you used at checkout, or the order number shown on your Paddle receipt.
  • Select the transaction and choose "Request a refund".
  • Provide a short reason so Paddle can process your request.

You can also email us at info@fundercompass.com and we will assist you to raise the refund with Paddle on your behalf.

4. What is eligible

  • Your most recent monthly subscription payment, if requested within 30 days.
  • The initial payment on a newly-created account.

Older billing periods, add-on charges accepted on custom order forms, and any professional-services fees quoted in a separate scope of work are outside this 30-day guarantee and are handled case-by-case under the Terms of Service.

5. Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Super Admin Panel or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals. If you cancel outside the 30-day window, you keep access until the end of the current billing period; no partial refund is issued for the unused portion of that period.

6. Chargebacks

Before disputing a charge with your bank, please contact us or Paddle first. Chargebacks raised while a refund is available through Paddle will be responded to with evidence of the refund pathway offered.

7. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)), including the non-excludable consumer guarantees. Where a guarantee is breached, you may be entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair, and to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
